This is a fantastic photo of Arnold Palmer and Jack "Jackie" Nicklaus from 1960. The C.O.A. describes it best, so I will include that here. You can also see the description in the pictures.
The press write up that accompanies it is a great historical piece describing where these two were in their golf careers at the time of the photo. Mr. Nicklaus was playing for Ohio State University and people were calling him "Jackie".
From the RMY Auction COA....
"A prophetic image from 1960 which pictures a young college student named "Jackie" Nicklaus as he poses with a young professional Arnold Palmer which mentions the pair were "threatening to turn the next decade into a two man show." All things considered, this is the finest golf image from the era we have ever seen in any form and it grades a perfect 10/10!*** Issued by the Associated Press with a full paper cation, wou will be hard pressed to find another image of both together that is even in the same league as this one!"
Somewhere between shipping and me opening the envelope, there appeared a
small nick at the top of the white border surrounding the photo. I do
not feel that it affects the condition so much as it can be trimmed, or
covered over with matting. That being said, if you are truly unsatisfied
with it, then I will give the buyer a full refund if returned in the
same condition as received. You will be responsible for cost of securely
shipping it back.
